About us

We started life as a B&B in 2009 and, on opening, Visit England awarded us the prestigious 5* Gold Award and Breakfast Award for outstanding breakfasts. Thereafter, due to excess demand, we extended our accommodations to offer luxury camping in 2010 – we like to think of our accommodations as luxury B&B Suites that happen to be in our grounds and not inside our country house – but minus the en-suite!

You have plenty of options for your break. You can stay in our romantic yurt nestled in an idyllic, tranquil, ancient bluebell wood on the edge of our paddock sleeping in a 7ft round bed, or one of our two giant group yurts in the lower paddock both sleeping up to 10 people. We also offer glamping in our five flower-themed Bell Tents on the top paddock and two funky Animal print-themed yurts in our middle paddock – all with real beds – some even have electric blankets or memory foam mattress toppers. Everything is supplied right down to the ice bucket.

Experience the romance and tranquillity of sleeping under a transparent dome or canvas through stylish and fashionable glamping. All accommodations have their very own gas camping stoves and charcoal BBQs for personal outside cooking, alongside their own fire barrels (with a bag of free logs) to make the trip even more traditional.
